DAY 1 CHIANG RAI

Upon arrival transfer to the hotel. In the evening you are invited for a welcome dinner, where you will get further information about your golf tour in the north. There is also time to explore Chiang Rai's little night market.

DAY 2 CHIANG RAI

After breakfast drive to Waterford Valley Golf Club, located approx. 45 km to the northeast of the town. Enjoy the golfing and nice mountain sceneries. Early afternoon you will be back at the hotel. Time to relax at the swimming pool or do some sightseeing in in Chiang Rai. Our driver and tour guide are ready to serve you. Overnight in Chiang Rai.

DAY 3 CHIANG RAI

In the morning transfer to Santiburi Golf Club, located 10 km to the east of Chiang Rai city. This is another top class golf course and for many golfers one of the favorites in the north. Afterwards transfer back to your hotel and relax...or take a tour to the Golden Triangle which also includes a boat trip on the Mekong River with a brief stop at the Laotian river island Don Sao. Return back to Chiang Rai via Mae Sai, the market- and border town to Myanmar (Burma). Overnight in Chiang Rai.

DAY 4 CHIANG RAI - CHIANG MAI

Today you will not use your golf clubs. Drive through some picturesque mountain wilderness, passing various hill tribe villages and stop at some of them. See the local market on Doi Maesalong mountain, where many Chinese goods are available, but also Akha hill tribe people sell their fruits, vegetables and self made handicrafts. In Thaton lunch break at a resort on the banks of the Kok River. Visit Wat Thaton and its giant Buddha images, overlooking the Mae Kok Valley. Go on towards Chiang Mai. On route stop at a traditional rice mill, the mystic cave temple in Chiang Dao, but also at an orchid farm. Late afternoon arrive at the northern capital for overnight.

DAY 5 CHIANG MAI

In the morning drive to Chiang Mai-Lamphun Golf Club, approx. 25 km to the east of Chiang Mai and enjoy golfing on this picturesque course. In the early afternoon transfer back to Chiang Mai. On route you got the opportunity to visit some local handicraft factories, such as the famous umbrella making, lacquer ware, silver ware, woodcarving etc. In the evening take a look to Chiang Mai's night bazaar.

DAY 6 CHIANG MAI

Play another round of golf and you have the choice between Green Valley Golf Club, Royal Chiang Mai Golf Club, Gassan Lake City or Chiang Mai Highland Golf Club All of them are top and challenging courses. In the afternoon transfer back to the hotel and relax at the hotel or do some more sightseeing in the northern capital, for example visit the landmark of this city, Doi Suthep mountain temple. Our driver and tour guide are ready to serve you.

DAY 7 CHIANG MAI

Transfer to the airport or railway station, depends on your further schedule.

REMARKS/FLEXIBILITY:

This tour can be done v. v. with start in Chiang Mai and end in Chiang Rai, but also both, start and end in Chiang Mai is possible.
This package is available with first class- and boutique hotels, too.
It's your choice wich golf courses in Chiang Mai are used during the package. Available are Green Valley, Royal Chiang Mai, Gassan Lake City, Chiang Mai Highlands or Chiang Mai-Lamphun.
