Three domestic airlines are landing at Chiangmai airport at present. Thai Airways, Bangkok Airways, and fairly new Orient Thai Airline.
Travel time between Bangkok and Chiangmai by plane takes one hour. There are also direct domestic flights between Chiangmai and Phuket, Hat Yai, Ubon Ratchathani, Udon Thani, Khon Kaen, Mae Hong Son, Chiang Rai, Phitsanulok,
Many major South-East Asian cities are now connected by direct flight to Chiangmai international airport.
International direct flights to and from Kunming, Yangon, Mandalay, Kuala-Lumpur, Vientiane, Singapore. With Thai Airways, Air Mandalay, Malaysian, Laos Aviation, Silk-Air, respectively.
A direct flight also connect Frankfurt (Germany) to Chiangmai with LTU.
And finally, the whole world is connected to Bangkok, then onward flight to Chiangmai, to choose amongst more than 12 flights everyday !
